Last spring, I decided to take environmental portraits of my friend’s cats for my final projects in Analogue Techniques. I shot all the images on Fuji Neopan 1600, and then printed the photos on matte fiber based paper. To see the full series, click here!
One of the cats I photographed (Patches, in the above photo) needs a temporary home until February 2010. Click here to go to the group on Facebook!

Chris McCaville has been working on a documentary about worker co-ops in Winnipeg, and Organic Planet was featured. Some of the photos I took back in June are used in their segment!

Back in July, I got the chance to shoot some wedding photos for my cousin Jason and his wife Sonya! We didn’t have much time for different locations, but my uncle had a lovely garden in his backyard that we were able to use! Here are a few shots from the day:
Congrats!!

I didn’t feel like getting out of bed this morning – my plan was to sleep until noon. But I am really happy I didn’t! The sun is shining and it looks gorgeous out! Hoorah!
I’m really into shooting with colour film in my Canon FTb lately. The lenses I have for that camera body are so crisp, it’s lovely. A co-worker gave me a bunch of expired Blacks/Astral processing included 100iso film. I’ve been shooting a lot of it these days and I love the colours, it’s great!

It’s weird to think I have been out of Prairie View for about 2 months now. And that summer is almost over. So much has happened this summer but I feel like I haven’t done enough. The movie theatre already has posters up for Christmas day releases
Here are some photos from late June / early July:

Finally posting some more photos from my trip to PEI. Again, most of these photos were taken on our day trip to Nova Scotia. Yes, we really did go to a quilt show. The east coast was lovely. I would love to go back again sometime.

I am finally all settled into my new apartment on Wolseley. Ah, I love this area. I just wish we had some nicer weather going on right now. The few nice days this week I spent inside editing photos… which was fun, but going to the beach would of been even better…
Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be working on getting more content up on this blog. Especially to the “Photography” section. I finally have some spare time to get tons of scanning done, and I have a lot more galleries to add as well!
The photos I took for Organic Planet last month are now on their website! Check it out! www.organicplanet.coop
